Dfw centurion lounge8/14/2023 We had to hop on a video conference meeting while I was in the lounge and there was zero lag despite the lounge being fairly busy.Įven though there was a lot of people, there was never an issue finding good seating in the lounge. All you have to do is reserve your time slot at the front desk of the lounge. The spa services are run by Exhale Spa, and most of the services (massage, manicure, pedicure) are free. They will also re-clean the shower even though it was already cleaned after the last person used it. If you would like to use one, just let the front desk know so that they can send someone to make sure all of the toiletries are in pristine condition. There are three shower rooms in this lounge, and they are very well-appointed. This lounge has all of the perks you would expect from a facility carrying the Centurion name. Well done AMEX.ĪMEX Centurion Lounge DFW Airport – Food and Drink Sample Amenities at the Centurion Lounge DFW The bar is always busy, but we’ve seen up to five bartenders there crushing out drinks to keep guests happy. The crowning jewel of the dining area is the full service bar that pumps out amazing cocktails. The menu at this lounge is designed by award-winning chef Dean Fearing. They will have a set menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food is served buffet style. This will likely be the fanciest food you will find in an airport lounge. She had no idea that the lounge offered this service, and quickly booked one for herself! Food and Drinks Funny enough, a lady was checking-in as we were leaving and overheard the conversation about the free massage. AMEX has always been known for great customer service, and the Centurion Lounge is no exception. When we were leaving the lounge three hours later, they somehow remembered our names and asked how the massage was at the spa. They took the time to explain where everything in the lounge is located, and also told us about their favorite cocktails from the bar. They went over the amenities of the lounge, and offered to book us in for one of their complimentary spa services. When we checked-in, all of the front desk staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. That is really the best way to describe the staff at this lounge. Skylink is awesome, and we wish more airports had a similar system.Įxceptional. Our outbound terminal was Terminal B, and we were able to get from the front door of the lounge (in terminal D) to our gate within 10 minutes. The Centurion Lounge at DFW is very close to the Skylink train if you are flying out of a different terminal and worried about getting there on time. You used to be able to relax at a Centurion Lounge if you were getting off an incoming flight, but that rule was changed to help manage the crowds – which we think is awesome. The Centurion Lounge requires that you have a boarding pass for a same-day outgoing flight, and you can only use the lounge within three hours of your outbound flight’s departure time. It is located in terminal D (around gate D12) across from the Starbucks.Īccess to the lounge is granted to AMEX Centurion and Platinum members – and each member can bring in up to two guests. The Dallas Forth Worth (DFW) Centurion Lounge continues this long tradition of exceptional lounge amenities from American Express.
